Sandpoint, Idaho208-597-0490omcreek11@gmail.comDear Hiring Manager,
I have worked as a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician in Canada since 2012. My Canadian certification does not automatically transfer to Idaho, so I plan to attend North Idaho College, work commitments permitting, to build on my training and work toward Idaho journeyman certification. I’m already registered as an electrical apprentice in Idaho.
My experience covers industrial, commercial, and residential installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. I’ve worked on industrial power distribution, equipment commissioning, and control-system repairs, as well as reading electrical drawings and coordinating crews. I’m comfortable investigating faults, planning the work, and seeing it through. I also build practical websites and small applications using AI-assisted tools, combining hands-on trade experience with digital problem-solving.
I’m looking for a local position where I can contribute that experience while completing my schooling. You would gain journeyman-level experience at apprentice pay while I meet Idaho’s requirements, with the opportunity to assess my capabilities firsthand.
I’d welcome a conversation about your crew’s needs and how the position could fit with my upcoming class schedule.
Sincerely,
Obadiah Creek
